A 61-year-old from Graz was knocked over by an unknown person in a bar near the train station almost a month ago. He suffered serious head injuries and has been fighting for his life ever since. The police are now looking for the suspect based on a ghost image.
The incident happened almost a month ago, on June 13, 2024, in a bar on Europaplatz or Ghegagasse in Graz. Shortly after midnight, the emergency services were called there: a man had been pushed and hit his head on the sidewalk. The 61-year-old from Graz was taken by ambulance to the university hospital. Since then, the man has been fighting for his life in an artificial deep sleep.
Police are investigating what exactly happened before the push and who pushed the Grazer. The man’s two sons and a colleague were there to celebrate the victim’s birthday. The sons were probably playing darts with two strangers when an argument broke out over the bill for the drinks.
