An unknown man on an e-scooter robbed a gas station in Vienna-Meidling with a gun. The perpetrator is still on the run; the crime took place at the end of June. Photos of the man have now been released. Questionable: After his crime, the robber apologized.
The unknown man in the mugshots is suspected of a robbery at a gas station in Meidling on June 20 at around 9:15 p.m. The masked man is said to have entered the building on an e-scooter and then threatened an employee with a weapon.
After the robber demanded and received cash, he apologized and fled.

“The amount of cash stolen is in the lower four-digit euros,” said police spokesman Markus Dittrich.
Detectives are searching for the man at full speed. The published photos of the suspect show that at the time of the crime he was wearing a blue hooded raincoat, black “North Face” sweatpants and black trainers.
