Carinthian show jumping star Gerfried Puck is looking forward to his first “competitions”! He actually wanted to end his career years ago – luckily his girlfriend Kathrin and son Tobias were able to convince the 51-year-old to continue after a devastating barn fire.
“Without my girlfriend Kathrin and son Tobias, I wouldn’t be riding anymore,” admits Gerfried Puck (51) from Görtschitztal, just before the highlight of his career, his first start in the show jumping competition at the Olympic Games from January!” August 1 in Paris. “They encouraged me, encouraged me positively – and gave me a kick in the butt. After that, I started to immerse myself in equestrian sports again.”
