A 27-year-old had a lot of fuel when he drove off the road in Pettenbach (Upper Austria) on Saturday evening. The car then crashed into an underpass and ended up on its side. The fire brigade had to free the injured driver from the vehicle.
On Sunday evening, the 27-year-old from Pettenbach was in his hometown on Kremsmünsterer Straße towards Scharnstein. He left the road to the left and continued his way on the adjacent meadow.
Vehicle in side position
It was only when he crashed into an underpass that his drinking trip came to an end. The crashed car tilted under the impact and came to rest on its left side.
Very drunk
Red Cross workers treated the injured driver, who had to be rescued from the vehicle by firefighters. An alcohol test on the 27-year-old was positive: 2.4 per mille. The “Schluckspecht” had to surrender his driver’s license.
