$2.165 billion in revenue, 152 concerts worldwide, six million fans – American megastar Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ is the most successful concert series in music history. The 34-year-old will perform at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium on three nights from 8 to 10 August. The 170,000 fans can expect a pop show that breaks all boundaries. Krone+ knows more.
A Taylor Swift concert is a gigantic affair. In every sense. Not just in terms of length – up to 46 songs in three and a half hours – but also in terms of the size of the stage, the sophisticated lighting and the technology behind it.
When the “Eras” concert tour concludes in Vancouver on December 8, 2024, it will go down in pop music history as the most commercially successful tour of all time, with an expected gross of $2.165 billion, the Wall Street Journal has calculated.
The previous leader is Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which grossed a total of $939.1 million from 330 shows between 2018 and 2023. But with Taylor Swift, everything is a little bigger.
