Carinthia has also been hit by the storms. Around noon, a thunderstorm front was already moving across parts of Upper Carinthia. The central area is particularly affected. In addition, surfers and water sports enthusiasts were in distress on Lake Wörthersee.
In addition to thunderstorms and hail in several states, strong winds are also a threat, especially in Vienna and Lower Austria.
