Hatred Against Republicans: Secret Emails Catch Up With Trump Rep. JD Vance

Date:

American vice-presidential candidate JD Vance (39) is entangled in his past. The New York Times newspaper published about ninety e-mails that the politician wrote to a former classmate during his student days. In them, he complains about the police and Donald Trump, among other things.

The news could become a scandal in the American election campaign. The emails date from 2014 to 2017, when Vance, now 39, was a law student at the prestigious Yale University. The recipient was Sofia Nelson, a transgender woman who now works as a lawyer in Detroit and was close friends with the politician. In 2021, the two had a falling out, and there was talk of political motives. Three years later, Nelson leaked the emails to The New York Times.

“Black people suffer under Trump”
And they all have it: “I am shocked by Trump’s rhetoric. I have always believed that people believe in crazy things. And there have always been demagogues willing to take advantage of people who believe in crazy things,” he wrote around 2015. At the time, the current US presidential candidate had announced his first candidacy.

Later, Vance Nelson announced that he would support Democrat Hilary Clinton in the election campaign. Trump is “just a bad man, a morally reprehensible person.” The more white people vote for him, the more black people will suffer, it says elsewhere. Vance is also said to have called the Republican candidate “America’s Hitler” (see video above).

“I hate the police”
But it’s not just the former US president who is being criticized in the emails. The police aren’t doing well either. “I hate the police. When I see all the negative experiences I’ve had with the police, I can imagine how black kids feel,” Vance wrote in 2014. At the time, an officer shot and killed Michael Brown, an African-American man who was only 18 years old. years old.

The emails became public two weeks after JD Vance was nominated for US vice president – Donald Jr. had recommended him. “It’s a disgrace that someone would publicly share a ten-year-old private conversation,” his camp says. “Vance is already a disaster,” says the team of opponent Kamala Harris. Some voices are already saying that Trump regrets his decision for the 39-year-old.
