Because several muesli products contain an increased level of mold toxins, supermarket chain Spar has launched a recall.
According to the company, elevated levels of ochratoxin A were found in the ingredient raisins during a routine inspection of the following products:

NUSSYY Organic Protein Bar – Protein Bear 35 g, with expiration date (BBD) June 22, 2025

NUSSYY organic bar – Lazy Freddy 35 g, with a best before date of June 22, 2025

NUSSYY Organic Berry Muesli Oven Baked + Protein 350 g, with a best before date of July 7, 2025

SPAR Natur*pur organic muesli fruit almond 375 g, with best before date April 6, 2025
“Affected products have already been withdrawn from the market”
“For this reason, Spar is recalling all products that are listed with the above-mentioned expiration date. The goods in question with the relevant expiration date have already been taken out of circulation,” a press spokesperson said Monday afternoon.
Customers who have purchased the products in question can return them to their nearest Spar, Euro and Interspar branch or Maximarkt. The purchase amount will be refunded – even without a receipt.
