The electricity price in the wholesale market or “pool” up by 3.15% this Thursdayto 170.81 euros megawatt hours (MWh), according to the results of the second auction with the ceiling on the price of gas for electricity generation in effect.

This increase takes place in complete escalation of electricity in Europe, where the price of the MWh will be tomorrow in France at 272.85 euros, in Great Britain at 183.18 pounds (about 211.54 euros at the exchange rate), and in Germany at 201.97 euros. In Portugal, where the gas ceiling is also applied under the so-called “Iberian exception”, the same price will be paid as in the Spanish state, by dividing the market.
