The Supreme Court Electoral Chamber (TSJ) of Venezuela requested this Friday the National Electoral Council (CNE) to hand over the minutes of the elections presidential elections held on July 28 within a period of three days and has engaged an office for this case 24 hours a day.
Venezuelan justice has demanded “all the evidence related to the cyberattack reported against the CNE’s computer system,” which would have prevented “the timely dispatch of the election results”claiming that it is “a public, known and communicable fact”.
When the first results were announced on Monday, The opposition quickly came forward to claim their victory – which they claim to have achieved with more than 70% of the vote – and are demanding an internationally backed recount of the minutes.
