The agreement between the ELA union representation and the management company has made it possible to put an end to the 72 days of strike during which users could not enjoy a bath in these facilities.
Bilbao Kirolak will finally open the outdoor swimming pools of Artxanda, Errekalde and Txurdinaga from next Monday, August 5, as reported on social networks.
The Municipal Sports Institute began on Thursday to fill the outdoor swimming pools of the sports centres in the capital of Vizcaya after an agreement was reached between the ELA representation in the Bilbao Kirolak maintenance service and the management company UTE Giroa Ansareo for 72 days of strike, during which users could not enjoy bathing in these facilities and had to deal with closed bathrooms and sinks, as well as a lack of hot water in the showers.
The service will resume at the usual hours: from 10am to 9pm during the month of August and from 10am to 8pm.
