A 49-year-old man was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon after he fell while working at a construction site on Erburua Street in Alsasua.
The SOS Navarra Emergency Management Centre received notification of the incident at 3:06 p.m. and mobilised firefighters from Alsasua Park, the medical team on duty, a medical helicopter and an ambulance to the scene of the incident), a simple life support ambulance and citizen security patrols from the Alsasua and Pamplona Foral Police stations.

After receiving first aid on the scene, he was transferred by firefighters to the heliport near the Alsasua fire station, where he was stabilized by the helicopter medical team upon arrival. Finally, he was transferred by plane to the University Hospital of Navarra with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) with a very serious prognosis.
Members of the Northern Judicial Police Brigade of the Foral Police are investigating the incident.
