In Anger in the Weiz district, a motorcyclist (55) hit a deer on Sunday afternoon. He could not brake fast enough and was seriously injured when he fell. The animal died at the scene of the accident.
It was around 1:30 p.m. when a 55-year-old motorcyclist from Graz was driving on the B 72 from Birkfeld towards Weiz. But suddenly a deer jumped onto the road from the left – and the driver could no longer react quickly enough.

The animal and the motorcycle collided, the 55-year-old fell and was seriously injured. The Red Cross took him to the Weiz State Hospital. The deer was so badly injured in the collision that it died on the spot.
