At around 6:30 a.m., a 58-year-old and a 53-year-old from the Murau district were gluing wooden planks with a machine. While he was operating the machine, she was adding the planks. A misunderstanding in the communication between the two caused the situation to suddenly escalate.

A board got stuck in the machine – suddenly the woman was trapped between the board and the machine. She was pushed against the gluing machine and was seriously injured. Now we had to act quickly: first switch off the machine and then provide first aid. The 58-year-old was then taken to the hospital in Friesach.
