Voices in her head allegedly ordered a 36-year-old to set fire to a garbage can. Police quickly tracked down the detonator and took her to Wels prison before anything else could happen.
On Friday at around 5:40 a.m., there was a garbage can fire in Peuerbach. During the investigation, it was discovered that the same person had tried to set fire to two garbage cans in the lobby of a bank a few hours earlier. The suspect, a 36-year-old from the Grieskirchen district, was eventually found sitting on a park bench near a tobacco shop and taken to the police station for immediate questioning.

She confessed, but said that voices had ordered her to do so. On the orders of the Wels prosecutor’s office, she was taken to the Wels prison.
