On Tuesday evening, a brutal attack took place on the street in Vienna-Wieden. Two youths threatened a 47-year-old and a 40-year-old with pepper spray and attacked them with kicks.
After the two victims had bought an ice cream in the Rubensgasse around 20:30, they were approached by the two youths. The suspects demanded cash and threatened her with pepper spray. The youths also attacked the two victims with stairs after they refused to hand over the money.
Young people fled
Shortly after, the two youths fled. However, the alerted police were able to arrest the two in an apartment a short time later. They are a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old. Both were clearly identified by the victims.
Also on the suspects’ T-shirts were clear traces of ice. They were reported in general. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
