The accident happened shortly after 6:00 PM in the vicinity of Innervilgraten. The 22-year-old local resident was driving his car on a municipal road when he suddenly drove over a stone, according to him.

“As a result, he left the road and ended up on the dike. After falling over several times, the car ended up in a creek bed,” the police reported.
Lenker went to the hospital himself
The 22-year-old was able to free himself from the wreckage and, according to investigators, went to the district hospital in Lienz himself. He suffered significant injuries. His car was badly damaged.
