A previously unknown perpetrator caused serious property damage and a lot of environmental pollution in a forest in the municipality of Bad Eisenkappel.
“The perpetrator struck on Thursday evening and used a power cutter to cut three hydraulic hoses on a Harvester forestry machine. On another forestry machine of a forwarder, the unknown man climbed into the driver’s cab through the emergency exit and smashed the control screen,” police said.

The two machines were parked on a remote forest road near Remschenig. The oil spill contaminated 100 square meters of forest floor!
