During a trip to Airpower in Zeltweg (Styria) a tragic incident occurred: a nine-year-old boy fell off his bike and fell under a carriage. The child was flown to the LKH Graz by rescue helicopter.
A family, including a nine-year-old boy from Deutschlandsberg, set off on their bikes from a parking lot to the Airpower site on Friday morning. In the village of Zeltweg, cyclists rode on the sidewalk because of the heavy traffic.
Child seriously injured
Suddenly, the nine-year-old son fell off his bike on the street – where a full carriage from Tyrol was on its way. The child fell under the bus and was probably run over, according to the police. Police officers gave the seriously injured nine-year-old first aid before he was flown to the LKH Graz by rescue helicopter.
