Another case of domestic violence has occurred in Vienna. A 53-year-old woman alerted police in Floridsdorf on Thursday after she was repeatedly beaten and threatened by her husband.
The victim (53) alerted the officers around 4 p.m. Her husband attacked her in the apartment they shared on Jedlersdorfer Strasse, hit her several times and threatened to kill her.
Angry dogs in the apartment
The operation proved extremely difficult as the 41-year-old became aggressive towards the police and tried to hit the officers. The situation was made even more dangerous by the arrested man’s angry dogs.

During the action, a police officer was injured. When the officers performed an alcohol test, the blood alcohol level was 3.14. The 41-year-old was arrested. In addition, an entry and approach ban and a temporary weapons ban were issued against him. He will receive a release notice.
