A 16-year-old Turkish man was the victim of a brutal knife attack on Sunday around 9:15 p.m. According to his own statements, he was walking along the Friedhofgasse in the Gries district when an unknown man grabbed him and did not let go. An also unknown woman allegedly grabbed a knife and attacked him.
Victim underwent emergency surgery at the LKH
The 16-year-old suffered several stab or cut wounds to his back, some of them serious, and after initial medical treatment was taken in an emergency ambulance to the LKH Graz, where he even had to undergo surgery. According to current information, his life is now out of danger.

But the two perpetrators are still at large. Previous investigations and witness interviews have not yielded any information about the exact course of the crime. The Styrian police are now sending a personal description: the female person is said to have been wearing black trousers and a black jacket at the time of the crime.
