A fishing boat carrying around a tonne of cocaine has been arrested off the coast of Cornwall. Images showed brick-shaped packages wrapped in brown paper with the words PEZX on them.
As the British National Crime Agency (NCA) announced, four men were arrested when the boat named “Lily Lola” (pictured below in tweet) was stopped at sea near the town of Newquay.
It was a significant amount of cocaine, which represented a huge loss to the organised crime group that wanted to bring it into Britain, NCA Commander Derek Evans said, according to the statement (see tweet above).
