A helicopter was sent – a little later the emergency services came across five lifeless authorities. The ski tour group apparently had an accident. It was initially unclear how exactly the tragic accident came about.
Tours discovered on Avalanche Cones
As the Air Zermatt reddings workers reported, the crew of a search flight initially discovered three alpinists on an avalanche gel – about 500 meters height under the saddle, as the newspaper “Blick” writes. An emergency doctor could only find her death.
Only a few hundred meters away, the crew also came across the other two ski tourers. They too could only be restored to death.
