Curtain up for FC Red Bull Salzburg in the premier league! Ahead of the opening match on Wednesday (18:45, live on Canal+) at Sparta Prague, sports director Bernhard Seonbuchner talks in the “Krone” interview about the chances of Mozartstadt’s team, head coach Pep Lijnders and his first year as Bulls boss.
“Crown”: Mr. Seonbuchner, you have been sports director in Salzburg for just over a year. How have you experienced your time so far?
Bernhard Seonbüchner: It was very entertaining, varied, intense and had some challenges that made the year go by quickly (laughs). The job is demanding and requires a lot, there is no doubt about that. But it is also a dream job. I see it as a huge privilege to be able to work together with my colleagues, coaches and players and to fight for goals together. I am very grateful for that.
