A student was sentenced to eight years in prison in Graz in March for maliciously jamming a knife into a 16-year-old’s stomach while kindly putting his arm around his shoulders. On Tuesday, he pleaded for a lighter sentence at the Higher Regional Court: “I don’t want to go to prison!”
In October 2023, the 17-year-old stabbed his opponent in the stomach with a pocket knife in Feldbach. The whole thing had been preceded by a fierce fight a few weeks earlier. Sentence reduced
