A vehicle occupied by five young Ukrainians fell 16 meters over a dike in Kirchbichl in Tyrol on Sunday. The car flipped over twice.
On Sunday around 2.30 pm, a 19-year-old Ukrainian woman drove a car in the municipality of Kirchbichl with four other Ukrainian women (aged 16, 19 and 20) into the driveway onto Loferer Straße in the direction of Söll.
Car thrown in the field
At the site of a bend to the right, the driver ended up on the left side of the road for unknown reasons. The fully loaded vehicle slid along the guardrail until it finally landed on the right side of the road due to the applied emergency brake and was thrown about 16 meters over the steep slope into an adjacent field by flipping twice.
A passenger seriously injured
The vehicle came to a stop on its wheels again. All occupants were injured to an unknown extent in the accident. The driver and three co-drivers were taken by ambulance to the BKH Kufstein after the emergency. A passenger was taken to the Innsbruck clinic with a ÖAMTC emergency helicopter with suspected serious injuries.
Reports to the Public Prosecutor
The vehicle was a total loss. After the investigations are completed, the reports will be sent to the public prosecutor’s office in Innsbruck and the district administration in Kufstein.
