It sounds strange: a man from Mühlviertel had kept his criminal history quiet, but was allowed to continue studying at the Linz Security Academy. Now there was an unforeseen twist: he was thrown out. But the reason does not lie in his past as an ex-port brother.
Well then! The Mühlviertler who reached the Linz police academy despite his conviction and imprisonment had to leave. On September 20, he disarmed himself – involuntarily – and returned his uniform and service weapon. There is no way back to the safety academy or the Linz inspection, where he was appointed as a student.
“There was an error”
“Yes, there is a process to terminate the service,” state police headquarters confirmed in response to a “Krone” request. For legal reasons it cannot be said why the young officer, who was appointed late, had to leave – only that there was misconduct. But this has nothing to do with the fact that the Mühlviertler forgot his criminal history on the recruitment questionnaire. He did not have to report his imprisonment in Germany for selling banned drugs and nutritional supplements, because it was long overdue and officially paid off.
Removed from court
He was also expelled from the justice system, where the now ex-police student had been hired as a security guard, when it was discovered that he had once stood on the other side of the cell door. Former judicial colleagues had him exposed to the police because they had recognized him during a shooting training together.
The ex-police student can go to the labor court, but a lawsuit for reinstatement has no chance.
