According to the military, the Israeli air force has attacked targets in Yemen with dozens of fighter jets. The military said the large-scale operation targeted “Houthi terror regime” facilities in the Ras Isa and Hodeidah areas.
Power stations and a port used for oil imports, among others, were attacked. The Houthi militia is believed to have transported Iranian weapons and military supplies through the port, the military said.
According to the military, the Israeli airstrike on Yemen – about 1,800 kilometers from the Israeli border – was carried out in response to recent Houthi attacks.

On Saturday evening, rocket alarms were again activated in several areas in central Israel and in the coastal metropolis of Tel Aviv due to a rocket from Yemen. According to the military, the missile was intercepted before it reached Israeli territory.
