No driver’s license – asylum seeker (19) races through the 80 speed zone at 180 km/h

Date:

An asylum seeker (19) from Syria, living in Klagenfurt, accelerated in his BMW to 182 km/h on the southern highway – in the Minimundus area! The young speeding offender, who does not yet have a driver’s license, ignored the stop signs of a police patrol.

The young Syrian (19) not only endangered his life on Sunday afternoon, but also that of many other road users. “The driver accelerated to more than 180 km/h in the Minimundus area on the A2 and dangerously overtook several vehicles with this enormous speed difference,” said the Klagenfurt highway police, who were currently carrying out laser measurements in this area.

In the 80 km/h limit, the Syrian could be measured at a speed of 182 km/h (measurement tolerance already deducted). “The officers then asked him to stop using a stop bar.”

Stop signs ignored
“However, he ignored the stop signs. He passed the officers without braking and continued his journey towards the city.” The police officers immediately gave chase and a manhunt was launched. When the young speeding offender noticed this, he parked his vehicle in the Packer-Straße/August-district. Jaksch-Straße in the city and left it with the engine running.

Radio patrol caught speed demons, BMW seized
However, the radio search made a nearby police patrol aware of the fugitive and was able to stop him. “The 19-year-old Syrian asylum seeker living in Klagenfurt also does not have a valid driver’s license. This should only have been handed to him on October 2,” the police continue. He then rudely asked the officials if he could still get his driver’s license…

After consultation with the state police headquarters, the Syrian’s car, a BMW 1 Series, was also temporarily seized. Several advertisements follow.
