Dispute escalates in Lower Austria – robbery trial! Senior doctor to victim: “You fat noodle”

Date:

When the dispute with his 64-year-old neighbor escalated, all the fuses blew for the renowned doctor from Lower Austria. During the trial before the Korneuburg court, the blameless father confessed with his head bowed: “I am very ashamed of it!”

Because she had to testify about him to the police as a witness in a case in which he was a victim, a neighborhood dispute arose between a 64-year-old and the 52-year-old senior doctor from Lower Austria. It escalated on October 7, 2023.

According to the Public Prosecution Service, the doctor is said to be a robber. In her garage, he grabbed the elderly woman by the neck and strangled her. When she tried to get help with her mobile phone, the father of the family allegedly took the device from her and hit her on the head. “You fat noodle. “I know exactly where you go for a walk at night, so I’m going to give you a hard time,” he scolded.

Grabbing cell phone thrown away in a garbage bin
“The story developed its own momentum, but there was an incident where he was the victim,” his new lawyer Philipp Winkler said on the second day of the trial in Korneuburg. At the start of the trial, the suspect vehemently denied the events. While the victim persisted with her statements.

The doctor broke the stalemate on Monday, which pitted one statement against the other, and admitted: “I was very annoyed with Mrs. D. She wanted to call the police. So I grabbed her cell phone and ran away. I threw the cell phone in the nearest trash can on the street.”

6,000 euros in distraction and 660 euros in compensation
Because the intention to enrich oneself and therefore the robbery due to the credible confession no longer existed, the public prosecutor also agreed to diversion. 6,000 euros plus 660 euros in damages, but the criminal case is dropped and no report is made to the medical association.

The doctor does not want to stay in the house after the incident: “We want to move in the spring,” he says and in court he also comments on his violent choice of words towards the victim on the day of the crime: “I am ashamed of it very much!”
