Claudia Sheinbaum will take office with the task of continuing the ‘Fourth Transformation’ and… endemic challenges of Mexican society, such as the fight against drug trafficking or femicides, and all this with the long trail left by the previous president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
In the same way, you must continue on the route that Andrés López Obrador followed and leave nearly two dozen reforms are awaiting approvalincluding that of universalizing pensions, health care, education, increasing salaries, or banning animal cruelty and the trade in chemical drugs.
Sheinbaum comfortably won the June presidential election, with 61.18% of the vote. His profile, which many consider more analytical and cautious, differs from that of his predecessor, who was accused of being populist and sometimes even paternalistic towards women.
