A Chinese woman who allegedly worked for a secret service in her country of origin has now been arrested in Leipzig (see video above). Germany’s federal prosecutor’s office said on Tuesday that it had given information to a former associate of AfD politician Maximilian Krah.
Jiang G., a former Krah employee, is suspected of being an agent and was arrested in April on suspicion of espionage. Federal prosecutors accuse him of spying on Chinese opposition figures in Germany and passing information about negotiations in the European Parliament to the secret service.

It was said that she works for a company that provides logistics services. X. is accused of working for the Chinese secret service and passing on knowledge about arms transport to them. People are also said to have ties to a German arms company.
The Chinese woman was arrested in Leipzig on Monday and brought before an investigating judge. She has been in custody ever since. Her home and workplace were also searched.
