At least 60 people were killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to Palestinian medics. Among the targets was a school intended to provide protection for displaced families, medical staff on the scene said.
At least seventeen people were killed in the attacked school alone.
Attack also by Israeli tanks
As local radio station “Voice of Palestine” and Hamas media reported, Israeli tanks also attacked several areas in the east and center of Khan Younis in the south of the enclave and then partially withdrew.
Regarding the attack on the school and a building housing displaced persons, Palestinian media had previously reported more than 30 deaths.
At least 41,689 Palestinians have now been killed during Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip in retaliation for the October 7 attack by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, according to authorities.
