Another bomb threat! Within a few days, an operation took place at the railway stations of almost every state capital. After Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Klagenfurt and St. Pölten, Bregenz now also received a mysterious threat – by e-mail. The building was evacuated.
The police reportedly only received the threat by email on Thursday afternoon. The station building was immediately evacuated and a large area was cordoned off. The ÖBB also announced on platform X that there is currently no train traffic in Bregenz.
The author risks a prison sentence of several years
Since Monday, train stations in Graz, Linz, Salzburg, St. Pölten and Klagenfurt have been temporarily closed due to bomb threats. Based on the content of the letters, the police assume that the same author was at work in all cases, Lower Austria said on Thursday.
Interconnected studies are underway. If the investigation takes place, the author could face several years in prison.
