After a fatal shooting in a bar in Göppingen, Germany, the police continue to search for the perpetrator. There must be no danger to the population.
There was a shooting in the bar on Thursday evening: a 29-year-old was fatally injured and died shortly afterwards, the police and the Public Prosecution Service announced.
Two other men were shot and taken to hospitals with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, dressed in black, is said to be between 18 and 24 years old and fled towards the train station. A large contingent of police and a helicopter were deployed to search for him – to no avail.
Special committee established
The Baden-Württemberg State Police (LKA) is involved in the investigation. A special committee was set up.
It should be investigated whether there is a link with the clashes between rival gangs in the greater Stuttgart region. In the bloody feud between the rival groups, people have been shot at and a hand grenade also exploded since the summer of 2022. However, the number of incidents has decreased significantly in recent months.
