On Friday afternoon, a 20-year-old from Tamsweger was hit by the soaked road. He was driving from Murau towards Sankt Georgen am Kreischberg when he skidded in the so-called “Olachgut bend”. He crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into the oncoming car of a 45-year-old from Murau.
Both drivers suffered unknown injuries as a result of the collision. The rescue took the pair to the LKH Tamsweg, the Stadl an der Mur police station had to close the B 97 for an hour. The volunteer fire brigades St. Georgen ob Murau and Murau were on duty.
