Greta Thunberg has been arrested again during a sit-in in Brussels. The Swedish climate protection activist was dragged away by police officers on Saturday along with dozens of fellow activists.
As a journalist from the AFP news agency reported, Thunberg and other climate activists blocked a road in the Belgian capital.
Police requests ignored
She did not respond to a police request to voluntarily end the sit-in.
Protest against fossil fuel subsidies
The sit-in by a small group of demonstrators took place alongside a protest march against fossil fuel subsidies that started in front of the European Parliament headquarters.
The demonstration was organized by the group United for Climate Justice. Thunberg has been temporarily arrested several times in the past during protests in various countries.
