The death toll from Hurricane Milton in Florida rises to 16

The hurricane made landfall Wednesday night as a Category 3 hurricane, with sustained winds of up to 120 miles (193 kilometers) per hour, although it has lost intensity until it is a Category 1 hurricane as it moves toward the sea.
