A 62-year-old from the Tyrolean Oberland fell victim to brutal internet fraudsters: the senior ordered a Chihuahua online and transferred more than 1,000 euros. However, the man has never seen a dog.
The 62-year-old Tyrolean came across the animal offering on an online sales platform. He then ordered a Chihuahua puppy and paid the agreed price of a three-digit euro amount, police said.
‘Seller’ suddenly wanted more money
But then the alleged seller demanded even more money. The senior responded and transferred another 1,000 euros.
Then contact was broken – the locals wait in vain for the purebred dog to this day. Of course the money is gone.
