Two wins, four podiums – after a strong year, top skier Stephanie Venier is already looking forward to the new season. The “Krone” visited the Tyrolean in her new home in Carinthia and spoke with her about her renewed love for golf, friend and “trainer” Christian Walder, pizza and fashion.
“Kron”: Stephi, you are in Carinthia in the summer instead of Tyrol – why is that?
Stephanie Venier: So first one thing: I’m still Tyrolean – and I still like to be at home (laughs). But here in Carinthia near Christian it is really cool in the summer with all those lakes. Especially to train endurance. Here in Tyrol you only drive up and down the Inn Valley. Here I can take many lakes and make several laps.
