Bad end to a pleasant evening: Two boys (17, 18) were sitting on a windowsill on Saturday evening when the youngest fell into the depths and was seriously injured.
The accident happened on Friday evening around 9 p.m. A 17-year-old was visiting his 18-year-old friend’s apartment in Gutau. The two boys were sitting on a windowsill drinking alcohol.
Slipped on the windowsill
According to police, the younger man wanted to get up to get something from the apartment. But he slipped on the windowsill and fell 4.7 meters onto a lawn.
No danger to life
He was admitted to Kepler University Hospital in Linz. From that moment on, there was a slight certainty on Saturday morning: the boy was seriously injured, but his life was out of danger.
