Painful experience for a 40-year-old from the Völkermarkt district on Saturday morning in Rosental: as part of forestry work on the top of the Schwarzgupf in St. Margareten (Klagenfurt Land district), the man assembled a cable car to transport the wood away. The accident happened for unknown reasons.
Colleagues rushed to help
The worker was rammed with full force by the trolley, which weighed more than 100 kilograms, and the force catapulted him into the depths from a platform about one meter high. The injured man was rescued by colleagues and taken to a nearby farm. From there, the 40-year-old was taken to the UKH Klagenfurt by the rescue team.
