On October 22, the Krone registered an impressive number of reader responses: no less than 77,000 messages in just one day! We would like to take this opportunity to thank our readers.
The Krone community is growing and growing: online reader feedback has been a matter close to our hearts for almost 20 years. While initially bulletin boards and chats excited our users, today there is an active readership discussing, chatting and exchanging valuable opinions in the comments section on krone.at and on our social media presence.
Record: 77,000 reader responses
A new milestone followed on October 22: we registered 37,000 comments on krone.at and 40,000 messages on social media. We at the Community team would like to thank our readers!
One reason for the lively exchange was, among other things, the discussion about the aftermath of the elections for the Austrian National Council: Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen ordered the ÖVP to form a government because both Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) and Andreas Babler (SPÖ) were continue to refuse to do this for the FPÖ to govern under Herbert Kickl.
The readers intensively exchanged ideas about possible government formations, expressed diverse opinions and provided exciting insights. The high level of participation shows how important our platform is for dialogue in Austrian society.
