Serious traffic accident on Thursday evening in Tyrol! Two holiday cars collided together on Loferer Straße near Kirchdorf (Kitzbühel district). Five people were injured, including a baby.
Around 5:15 p.m., a 23-year-old German drove his car on Loferer Straße from St. Johann in Tirol towards Lofer. In the back seat were his 26-year-old Croatian partner and their eight-month-old son.
The turning maneuver ended fatally
Suddenly, for unknown reasons, an oncoming compatriot (18) turned his car (there was also a 23-year-old Australian woman in it) onto a community street right in front of the 23-year-old’s car. The young father could no longer ignore it. A side impact occurred.

“The 18-year-old’s car was thrown onto the municipal road. The 23-year-old’s car came to a stop on Loferer Strasse about 30 meters from the accident scene,” police said. All occupants of the two accident vehicles were seriously injured in the accident and had to be taken to the hospital in St. Johann in Tirol.
