Volkswagen Navarra suspends two shifts on Monday due to a lack of supply from Valencia

Three suppliers at the Landaben factory suffered significant damage to their facilities. In principle, production will resume normally on Tuesday, November 5.

The Volkswagen Navarra factory suspended afternoon and evening shifts on Monday due to the flooding in the Valencian Communitywhere some suppliers of parts from the Pamplona factory are located.

As the works council informed the staff in an internal statement, they have been affected by the floods three of its supplierswho manufacture the sound insulation blanket for the hood and the water box in the dashboard; the Taigo spoiler; and the armrest and center console extension.

In principle, production at Volkswagen Navarra will resume on Tuesday, November 5.

The committee trusts that the situation will normalize as soon as possible and expresses its “sincere solidarity” with all those affected by DANA.
