Hikers made a terrible discovery in a gorge near Kössen in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel: they discovered the body of a man. The dead man was rescued by a police helicopter. An autopsy will determine the cause of death. The identity is already being guessed.
The male body was discovered on Monday around 3 p.m. in the so-called Entenlochklamm in the border area between Tyrol and Bavaria. The hikers immediately raised the alarm.
Rescue with police helicopter
“The found body was recovered with the Libelle Tirol police helicopter,” the director confirmed the find at the request of “Krone”.
Autopsy – assumption about identity
To clarify the cause of death and identity, an autopsy was ordered at the medical examiner’s office in Innsbruck. This is scheduled for Tuesday. According to the investigators’ assumptions, the dead man was probably a German citizen.
