“Kron”: Christian, the Formula 1 drivers’ union (GPDA), has denounced the increasing paternalism of FIA boss Ben Sulayem in a joint statement (see Instagram post below). How do you see this dispute?
Christian customer: It took a long time before the drivers said anything. It started with the ban on wearing earrings, then you were no longer allowed to wear underwear under fire-resistant overalls, and now a fine is imposed for every swear word. This is all going too far. The drivers are not little children who need to be patronized by the FIA president with a wagging finger.
