Israel bombed a residential home where displaced people were also taking refuge, killing 36 and wounding several others. Many people are trapped under the rubble.
At least 36 Palestinians were killed, including 13 children, and several were injured in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, after Israeli bombardments targeted a house filled with residents and where displaced people were also taking refuge.
The bombing led to the “total destruction of the house”, where several people are still buried under the rubble. The injured were taken to Baptist Hospital.
The Israeli military has indicated that its operation in Jabalia continues and that it has killed dozens of militants and dismantled “terrorist infrastructure” sites in the past day.
The northern Gaza Strip remains the worst hit by Israeli forces since early October, where at least 1,800 people have been killed.
