Someone clearly looked too deeply into the glass – and that too in broad daylight: An employee of a Tyrolean accommodation company who was apparently drunk fell almost four meters from the balcony of his staff room on Thursday afternoon and was seriously injured.
According to the police, the hotel employee was alone in his staff room in Hintertux in the Zillertal (Schwaz district) on Thursday. “Shortly before 2 p.m., probably due to heavy intoxication, he fell approximately three to four meters over the balcony of his staff room onto the paved emergency exit below,” police said.
Flown to hospital
After the first treatment, the man had to be flown immediately to the hospital in Schwaz by emergency helicopter. He is believed to have suffered significant injuries to his head and right arm.
