Attempted murder investigation against a mother of three from Vienna-Simmering. The 32-year-old allegedly poured boiling water over her partner, who was in bed. There is now a report that rules out a recorded version of the incident.
The allegations against a 32-year-old are shocking. As the “Krone” reported, the woman in Vienna-Simmering allegedly poured boiling hot water from a cooking pot over her partner’s face and upper body when he panicked in the bedroom. The motive for the crime is said to be jealousy.
30 percent of the body surface is burned
The expert report has now been received. Accordingly, the victim suffered second-degree burns on approximately 30 percent of the body surface: “The suspected course of events is likely to endanger life. “Particularly because particularly vulnerable areas of the face and neck were affected,” the report said. Shock or sepsis are possible life-threatening complications that can occur after such a burn.
The injury caused very severe pain – the victim therefore had to be put into a deep sleep and artificially ventilated for three weeks.
The victim’s exculpatory statements are unbelievable
According to lawyer Constantin-Adrian Nitu, the alleged perpetrator, who is not in custody, and her victim have reconciled: In his most recent police interrogation, the man stated that he had inflicted the injuries on himself through clumsiness. In doing so he relieved his wife.
The expert contradicts his version: “The fact that the victim was holding the pot during a fall can be ruled out due to the injury pattern.”
